Born in Colombia and raised between the US and Europe, Carla is is fluent in Spanish (Native), English and French. She received a BA in Theatre with a focus on Acting from the University of Miami, and has also trained vocationally with RADA in the UK and AMAW in Los Angeles.

With a theater background, Carla has starred in notable productions of theater classics such as "The House of Bernarda Alba" and Paula Vogel's "How I learned to Drive".  Most recently, she made her LA stage debut  starring as ROSALI in the play by Josefina Lopez titled 'Real Women Have Curves' alongside Abbott Elementary's Keyla Monterroso and an all-star female cast.
